Gopika born in Thrissur, Kerala is a ravishing model and hot South Indian actress who made it big in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada language movies.

Gopika was born to Anto Francis and his wife Dessy Hunto. Gopika studied at St. Raphel School in Ollur and completed her 12th standard. She later graduated in Sociology from Calicut University. Soon after winning a beauty contest at Thrissur, gorgeous Gopika landed a jewellery advertisement. With that advertisement campaign Gopika soon attracted the attention of the Malayalam film world.Thus Gopika's journey into films began in 2002 with a Malayalam movie "Pranayamanithooval" directed by Thulasi Das.

The film failed to click at the box office. But Gopika's sizzling hot performance in her debut movie brought her several movie offers. Her second movie, "4 The People" released in 2004 became a major hit in Kerala. Notably the song 'Lejjavathiye' garnered her more publicity. The movie was dubbed into other south Indian languages giving sexy Gopika a wider base of recognition down south.

Sensuous-looking Gopika made her Tamil debut with "Autograph" released in 2004 directed by Cheran. The movie "Autograph" went on to become a smash hit in Tamil. Ever since, there was no turning back for this marvelous actress. Gopika was featured in several hit Tamil movies.

Besides Malayalam and Tamil movies, Gopika has also acted in Kannada and Telugu movies. The beautiful actress said that she 'prefers ramp to her movie career on any day' has set her movie career zooming on a ramp of trailblazing hits.
Gopika's Popular Movies are 4 the People, Autograph, Kana Kandein, Chandupottu, Keertichakra, Vellithirai and Latha Manasulu. Her last film is Veruthe Oru Bharya with actor Jayaram. Her 'Autograph' was a big hit in 2004.

Gopika married Ajilesh, a doctor from Ireland in July 2008 at St Marys churck in Kothamangalam in Kerala.  The reception was held in Ernakulam on July 20th for friends from the film industry.  Gopika and Ajilesh went to Munnar in Kerala for their honeymoon.
The actress, has settled in Ireland following her wedding, to resume studying, and has enrolled for a course on Sociology. Incidentally, the Mollywood beauty was studying Sociology in the Calicut University in Kozhikode when she received an offer to act.

The actress receded from the limelight immediately following her wedding to Dr Ajilesh in July 2008. Marriage hasn’t drawn a full stop to the actress’ tinsel dreams. Although initially there were rumours that she may not act after here marriage she was recently quoted as saying ‘Give me a good offer and I’ll land in India right away’ the actress is said to be her friends in the film industry.
In 2008 Ujala-Asianet award for the best actress was won by Actress Gopika. She got this award for her performance in the super hit movie "Veruthe Oru Bharya". She left the film industry after her marriage is expected to get a great farewell treat through many popular awards for her acting in the Jayaram film.
